life is like a shipping bay.
We are 'received' by parents as parts and miniatures;
then we are thrown into production to get bigger and to attach other items
(like complexes of various sorts, memories, scars, emotions, etc)
eventually we are finished and 'shipped'.
At the beginning of production
we are put through the standard procedures
(birthdays, friends, school, death fo loved ones etc)
but eventually we are able to pick some of the procedures we want to have done in order to make us the best we can be for eventual 'shipping'.
What the Lord receives after our journey is what we make it.
If you are in the shipping bay,
there's no going back to production and
we don't know when our shipping day is!
hmmmm that was a fun analogy. I'll be thinking of that all day as i run around in production this afternoon...
